Newton Fractal
A mesmerizing fractal of complex, repeating structure that resembles organic, vine-like and floral shapes, lit with a spectrum of pinks, purples, blues and greens against deep black. Intricate lines and delicate branching give a sense of infinite depth. Newton's method applied to f(z) = z^10 + 0.2z^9 - 0.4z^7 + 0.7z^5 - 0.3z^3 + 0.1z - 1. Each root takes a hue from its own angle, and the roots come in mirrored pairs, so the shape repeats top to bottom while the colour does not.
