Newton's method alternated between sin(z) on odd steps and sinh(z) on even steps, under-relaxed at m = 0.90. Neither function's roots survive the composition, so the attractors were found numerically and land as two pi-spaced ladders crossing at the origin, near 2.358, 5.498 and 8.639 on the real axis and 3.255i and 6.398i on the imaginary axis. Colour is keyed to which ladder a point reaches and to rung parity, sea-green for the real ladder and ice-white for the imaginary one.
