Zlogz1 Lambert Brass
Newton Fractal
Newton's method applied to f(z) = z Log z - 1, which collapses to N(z) = (z + 1) / (Log z + 1). On the principal sheet there is only one root, z = 1 / W(1) = 1.7632228, and it is simple, so every bright feature comes from the pole at z = 1 / e and from the branch cut rather than from competing basins. The window sits on the pre-pole cluster near -1.0 +/- 0.34i, mirror-symmetric about the cut. Hue counts how many times an orbit steps over the cut, which draws the wedge-shaped veils.
