The Burning Ship map z -> (|Re z| + i|Im z|)^2 + c iterated over the parameter plane, framed at half-width 0.00205 on the second-largest body of the western armada. Hue is the orbit's mean turning angle |arg(u_n / u_n-1)|, passed through a logistic centred on the measured median of 1.585 radians. That coordinate then drives real thin-film interference, integrated from 380 to 730 nm against the CIE 1931 observer and converted through the sRGB matrix.
