Windward Field Lines

The Burning Ship map z -> (|Re z| + i|Im z|)^2 + c iterated over the parameter plane, framed on a two-masted armada ship at about c = -1.90755. The silver weave is the dyadic field lines of the escape argument u = arg(z_N) / pi, split on the sign of Re z_N. The fold makes u follow the tent map, this family's stand-in for angle doubling, so each line runs unbroken across an escape-time cell boundary. The distance estimate only inks the hull and sets the depth of the indigo.
